Large,powerful and Polish
In early December two brand new additions will join us at Tassie Tanks. These are two very large and very rare vehicles, one example can only be seen in the Tank museum at Puckapunyal and probablely hasn't been going for years, the other has never been seen in this country before. Both of these vehicles have been fully refurbished in Poland and are being sent here to Tasmania. Both of these vehicles are amphibous and can carry entire families, so mum, dad, the kids and granny mable can come too! Located now at Epping Forest easily accessed off the Heritage Highway. A large and exciting track has been made at this location to house the vehicles and give you the ride of your life!
The two new vehicles joining the Fox are the OT-64 SKOT and the MTLB-U Tiger.

Both of these are of Polish/Chezch design and come from the Cold War era. Diesel powered and tubo charged engines with the "Tiger"pushing out 290 B/HP.
So now you have three choices to make at Tassie tanks or why not ride them all!
We are posting the refurbishment of both the vehicles here so keep tuned!

update
Well after the woes with the gearbox, we got him up and running again, only to blow the cylinder head. I suppose this is what you get with importing a vehicle and it being 40 years old.
Anyway, the new head is now on it's way and we should be back again soon. Only need the wheels to fall off now LOL.

I will just do a quick update as i am now posting directly to Facebook (Tassie Tank Adventures) - the auto upload doesnt seem to be working. The Fox arrived in Tassie last Thursday, but is still sitting on the wharf :( We will be launching the business on the Saturday of the Deloriane Craft Fair.

Oh No - its happening again
Just when we thought we were nearing journey's end, it turns out that the Fox was left behind in Singapore. Serious! "Ports get busy this time of year, you know!" wtf. He now should be arriving in Bellbay on the 12th October (maybe). Hopefully the local Singaporean goverment havent burrowed it for their armed forces. Well our timetables are all screwed now, I guess we will have to wait & see. It would probably be easier to import a real fox into the State.
